We provide onsite Occupational and Industrial Physiotherapy services to companies. Our service is mobile and doesn’t feed into a private practice. Being onsite is an extremely powerful asset in the resolution of work related injuries as the cause of the concern can then be eliminated. Potential ergonomic risks can also be identified before costly injuries occur.
Work Wellness Australia was born after seeing an ever increasing load of workers’ compensation patients in private practice. Once a worker gets into the workers’ compensation system then red tape slows down the treatment and return to full duties of that worker. Experience and current research tell us that prevention or early treatment of an injury reduces the severity of Lost Time Injuries. At no point in time is a worker’s worth more transparent than when they are injured. Prevention and early management of workplace injuries is not only an employer’s responsibility, but it also makes good financial sense.
Our Aims
- Reduce workplace injuries and claims through early Physio intervention and education on ergonomics and healthy behaviours.
- Improve workplace relations and demonstrate care by providing hands on Physiotherapy and safety walks.
- Encourage workers to take on responsibility for their own physical health by teaching them how.
- Services are offered outside of the Workers’ Compensation system where possible.
Effectively managing health and safety can reduce costs, increase productivity and improve employee relations.
