Specific jobs lead to specific complaints. Computer workers are at risk of getting neck pain and fork lift drivers are more at risk of left sided shoulder pain. Remedial exercises counteract the effects of repetitive use or strain.
We design exercise regimes for workers that are specific to how they use their bodies. It is our goal to keep workers focused on their job and not on their aches and pains.
Exercises can be customised for an individual or targeted at preventing problems in a group of workers.
Exercise programs can be displayed at work stations or in lunchrooms. We can provide electronic links to exercise videos so workers can see what they have to do. Some workplaces like to engage workers in a group warm up before a shift.
We find it beneficial to educate workers on the importance of exercise and remedial stretching. If a worker starts to get symptoms then it helps for them to know why it is happening and how to help themselves. Stopping symptoms at the early stages benefits everyone not just the worker.
