Workers are more likely to adopt a healthy behaviour if they know why it is better for them and the consequences of doing something wrong. Teaching people how to help themselves leads to behaviour change.
We train workers through group presentations, toolbox talks, and one-on-one consults with injured workers. We also contribute to newsletters, blogs, produce posters and provide links to videos on the internet.
Our presentations are customised to suit the work stations used in both offices and in factories. We use interesting and relevant information to motivate workers to help themselves.
With individual consults there is often great benefit in following workers to their work station and identify the underlying cause of there symptoms. We then have the opportunity to teach a worker how a poor movement pattern or posture affects their symptom and how to relieve it.
